Well 2011 is gonzo and now 2012 is the year the world is suppose to end, and what really matters after that statement! I don’t believe it for a second, but lets ponder for a moment if it was true for YOU or I as an individual. After all, who knows when your or my personal number comes up! You or I could die tonight… right?

I haven’t blogged in awhile for a very good reason. Outside of time with my family, I have been spending my time writing music and recording my debut album to be released some time in 2012. Even if you could care less as to what I spend my time doing, please read on, as this pertains to YOU and every single person on this PLANET.

Why am I recording an album? Simple answer; I CAN… and next to my absolute best creations, my children, my music is something that will live on forever after I am gone. You see my children are my ultimate legacy, but I can only live on through them to the extent they pass on my teachings, memories and my genes. I am recording an album, because the music I create is part of my personal legacy I will leave behind when I am gone.

If the world ended for me in 2012 I am confident I have done everything I can for my legacy to live on.

What if the world did end for you in 2012?

What will you leave behind?

What is your legacy?

In my opinion, it doesn’t matter if you do not write, paint, sing, or have an artistic bone in your body. Legacy is not defined by enduring material you leave behind, but rather it’s YOUR WORK or LIFE’s impact on the living. Every person can leave a legacy!

Live. Love. Create.

Hope 2012 is your best year ever!!!

If you aren’t using a service that specializes in email marketing, then you are losing out on increased sales, your valuable time and ultimately money. If you are still sending emails via BCC (Blind Carbon Copy), get with the times my friend as you are not only NOT personalizing your emails, you are potentially opening yourself or your company up for spam complaints and potential legal issues.

On to the task at hand comparing two of the world’s most premier online email marketing services, often referred to as auto responders. I have aimed to make this as impartial as possible, and ask that users of either services, or other competitive products, comment as to their thoughts and experiences.

Here is a side by side comparison of features & costs:

Note (May 2010): I am now exclusively recommending AWEBER & not Constant Contact. I had an unfortunate run in with a Constant Contact representative & as a result prefer to affiliate myself with a company that appreciates those who send them business.

If you aren’t currently an Aweber user, I’ve negotiated for you a 1$ Test Drive of the service below… when you click on the banner below to get to the Aweber landing page, just click on their PRICING link and you’ll see the 1$ trial/test drive.

Cheers,

Use GoToMyPC (or Mac) Only After You Have Read This

Although I love GoToMyPC and use it every single day when I am traveling to connect to my home and work PC, there are a couple of things I wish I knew before I started using it!

In all fairness, I still would have ended up using GoToMyPC, every bit as much as I do today, but it’s not something the company or anybody points out to you.

1. You can connect to your home PC anytime 24/7 and use your computer just as if you were sitting in front of it! BUT, if the computer is turned off, or crashes, you are out of luck unless you have access to someone who can reboot it for you. GoToMYPC will not turn your computer on remotely as of this date.

2. While you are working on your home or work PC you can use every piece of software, every file or pictures on the computer you are connecting to. If you have sensitive material you are looking at, there is a function in your GoToMyPC Settings that will black out the screen on the PC you are connected to. Very important if the PC you are connecting to is at your office

Now you know, and my conscience is clear! If you aren’t currently a GoToMyPC user I have negotiated for you a free month, and $10 off at the link below.

Cheers,

Lee Raito

Jan 2010 Update: GoToMyPC is now available for Mac. They aren’t going to change the name to GoToMyMac, but this news is great for all you Apple users/junkies. The link above will work for both
