Why do people want everything for free? I have 3 computers connected using gotomypc and it supports our stores just fine. Its only 20$ a month. I think that is a great deal ! If the people that have gotomypc services up and running can not make any money why would they have it available?

I like paying people for a service, that way it will continue to be available to me and others.

We are using a DOS application and the only thing that gives us any problems is not being to easly print from the DOS applications but I am slowly creating Windows printouts for our application. Its in FoxPro 2.5 and I have looked at moving it over to Visual Foxpro in windows but I would loose much of the custom things we have came to depend on for almost 20 years. I think a piece of software lasting for 20 years is a real testimonial on how good it was and still is.

I have a friend that is very smart and will spend lots of hours to get something Free instead of just paying for what he wants. I would rather pay for what I want and go make money at what I know and let the computer people do their thing.

Please gotomypc team keep up the good work!
Del

Had a recent question about GoToMyPC being compatible with Windows 7, and to answer YES it is compatible for both 32 & 64 bit versions. Here is the Microsoft link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/...

Yes, it's FREE but you are not comparing apples to apples. If you want the same features like file transfer, remote sound, printing, etc. you have to pay to upgrade to LogMeIn Pro. Also, would love to hear how it remotely starts a computer that is turned off?

You might want to try logmein.com it is very close to gotomypc.com there are a few things that make it different.
1. logmein is absolutely free, no catch
2. You can remotely turn a PC on or off.
3. The interface is so easy a baby could use it.

[...] Use GoToMyPC (or Mac) Only After You Have Read This Although I love GoToMyPC and use it every single day when I am traveling to connect to my home and work PC, there are a couple of things I wish I knew before I started using it! In all fairness, I still would have ended up using GoToMyPC, every bit as much as I do today, but it’s not something the company or anybody points out to you. [...]

Hi April, unfortunately its a case of either or really. Either you are in control of the computer or the person sitting at the computer you are connected to is... not both!

Citrix has a sister product called GoToMeeting which allows for more collaboration between two people at separate computers. I've arranged for the same deal as with GoToMyPC in that you can have a one month free trial and $10 off your first paid month at the link below:

GoToMeeting: GoToMeeting Free Trial + $10 Off.

Casey, when you are signing up for GoToMyPC I would use whatever secure email address you normally use as it has no bearing on connecting between computers. Hope that helps Casey!

When registering for go to my pc do you enter the e-mail address of the computer that you want to access remotely (my office computer) or do you enter the e-mail address of the computer that you will be using from home?
