Slow Carb Black Beans, Jalapeño & Bacon
In frying pan medium heat. Sauté 1 chopped up large onion until translucent in oil of your choice ( I use grape seed oil), add diced red peppers, diced jalapeños and healthy amount of cumin. After few minutes then add can of black beans (rinsed) and Hormel real crumbled bacon ( NO dried bacon bits… That’s just wrong)! Heat another 3-5 minutes. Serves 4-6 as side dish.
Suggestions: Eat with scrambled eggs in the morning for a wicked kick start to any day. For lunch/dinner try adding a breast of Cajun chicken. Store in the fridge and eat a spoon full to satisfy a wicked late night hunger craving as opposed to hitting that bag of chips!!!LeeRaito.com
