I definitely would want to win because I just want to update myself of today’s technology,I’m kinda super late already of these and that stuffs that my kids and pamangkins are into talking about,hehehe!
As for to whom/what charity I would want to share it with,definitely to kids… I don’t know but I just remember myself when I was growing up on our trip to my lolas & lolos in manila (christmas holidays)I would just open our fridge and would pack a basket of foods & goodies for any kid in the street I feel deserving of what I’ve prepared and just looked at the joys in their eyes and smile saying “thank you po…” It just makes me more thankful and happy of what life I have… and so this time if in case I would definitely still give it to children…

The charity that I will like to win this for is MINDS (Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore).

Although I am still currently a student, I would help out financially as much as I could. But I will make up for it by finding time to head down to help out with their enriching programs and exercises that will help stimulate their physical muscular built and thinking. The smiles on their faces tell me I have done my greatest part in helping them lead a better life.

So I am hoping this potential amount contributed by you will do them a great deal in the long run.

And yeap, I have paid it forward (:

What a wonderful thing you’re doing! I like to find a boys and girls club or children’s home each year to donate bunches of toys to at Christmas. It makes me feel good to think that at least a few children will have a little something to open on Christmas morning. Seems like your girls are well on their way to becoming Santa’s elves themselves. I think they will look very nice with pointy green shoes

I read some of the entries above and most of them are very heart worming. I don’t know if my comment will pass the bar, but here goes:
A few months ago I entered a contest at Stuffedtech to win an iPod nano. It was a Valentines contest and the nano was pink, so I wanted to win it for my wife. We got dressed up in pink and took a funny picture together (that was the idea for the contest).
After a few weeks I got an email that we won. We waited a few more weeks but it did not come. When talking to the site operator, I was told that our entry was disqualified do to duplicate entries from the same email and that they sent it to the next eligible person. A short time later the site closed.
Ever since I have been trying to find a contest, where I could win an iPod nano for my wife, due to the fact that it’s a bit out of our price range right now.

Hi,

Thank you for the opportunity to enter this great and unselfish contest. I blogged about it at http://www.bloggingcontests.com/2009/win-money-for-your-favorite-charity-and-an-ipod-nano-at-leeraitocom/

But the reason why I feel as though I should win is because I want to give back to the community as much as anyone else. The charity I would contribute to would be Kiva in which is a micro-lending community for 3rd world businesses.

In essence, Kiva helps the less fortunate with more opportunities than what we have.

Also, if I won the first or second prize, I would hold a contest of my own with the iPod as featured prize. The contest would consist of seeing if and who people have donated to charities in 2008. I will giving back whether it’s 1 penny or 1 million dollars is something and if people have (and show proof) then they deserve to win.

Oh, and I’ve done the Walk for Hunger and have raised money for that. I would walk the 20 miles again and have you as a sponsor… though, that doesn’t happen until May.

And Happy New Year to you and particularly Emma, Hanna and Grace. Don’t worry, I’m only sucking up to the judges a little bit, I’m not bribing them.
